Things...go...very...slowly...in this country, so I started a blog to update instead of sending tons of emails from the café. My name is Daniel ("Taniela" here!) and I may have my own internet connection some day, but I'll keep up the blog. Faka-Tonga!!

ReplyDeleteYou couldn't have gotten closer Dan? ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Dan, that is super cool! I've seen hot lava in Hawai'i but it was more of an ooze than an eruption. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is AWESOME!!!
Thanks Yummy! I imagine if we were in Hawai'i there'd have been barriers (and postcards for sale). In Tanna it was just us, the edge, and a fuming red mouth. It was nuts but of course I loved it.
ReplyDeleteWell it's a mutual admiration society, because I think YOUR blog is awesome! Thanks for taking a look, my time here has been tons of fun and I'm glad to share it.
I was watching Angry planet about five minutes before I clicked the play buton on this video. On Angry planet Greg Kourounis (host of said show) was exploring a volcano somewhere near Nuku'alofa (it may very well have been Tanna, i'm really not sure) and he was wearing one of those big silver, heat proof, space man suits, obviously in fear of being burned to death. So I must say Dan that with this video you have proven to be more of an adventurer/man then stars of both OLN and Discovery combined.
ReplyDeleteHey Dave, maybe that guy was exploring the brand-new volcano that erupted near this town earlier this year? Whatever, thank you for further proof that I am awesome.
