Arachnophobia, anyone?

Whenever I see one of these very ominous spiders, my reaction is try not to look anxious, keep eye contact, toss him my wallet, and report the incident after I'm safe. I never think "hey, photo op." But an American in Tonga is braver then I, and this photo comes from her blog (thanks). If you don't have a healthy fear of spiders, you probably just haven't met the right one yet.

  2. About as big as your palm *shudder* they have webs between power lines all along roadsides, but sometimes you "get" to see one up close

  3. Poor Dan, not understanding the fun of spiders. I have an unhealthy love of spiders. For the longest time I've been naming the spiders I encounter in the house and let them live peacefully - killing our mosquitoes. The first one was Karl, then came Matthew (after the raven), I can't remember the third one, but after watching too much BSG - the fourth one was Kara.

Also been watching too much Spider-man lately, that new show is so good.
